World Wide Trip?
A friend and I were talking about taking a world wide trip after we graduate college. We both have 2 or 3 years left. But we wanted to really just invest a good bit of money into a one in a lifetime trip around the world. We just want to go to as many places that we could in the timeframe of one summer or so. We’ll definitely do a lot of planning on where exactly we want to go, etc. But I wanted some advice from anyone who has done something similar, traveled a lot, etc. We were talking about spending like 20 grand each or so. We both have scholarships, so we’re basically getting a free education, so this will be sort of a gift to ourselves. We pretty much want to hit every continent (maybe not Anarctica, but you can actually take a cruise there). So any good discussion on this idea would be great. We aren’t going to the Middle East or anywhere dangerous or corrupt. I’m pretty excited about planning it. Any good ideas on how to go about this? Please, only serious responses. Thanks!

I would recommend getting a Round the World ticket that allows as many stops as possible, subscribe to airline or travel agent email newsletter so you will know when there are specials.

I originally come from England and if you like old buildings and history, that’s a must see, you could then get a train across to Paris in just over 2 hours from London and that is also a great place, the south of France is also nice. I like Geneva in Switzerland
